Established in 1973, D&C Engineers is still a family run company with a supportive working environment that means our employees tend to stay. Seven members of our team have celebrated their 25th year with D&C. Several more have been honoured for giving twelve and fifteen years of service.
A big part of our ethos is ongoing training and development. All members of the D&C team are continually trained in health & safety and CDM. Every site team member is qualified under the Construction Plant Competence Scheme (CPCS) and the Construction Skills Certification Scheme (CSCS). We hold a Gold Award with the latter, reflecting D&C’s commitment to improving standards in the construction industry.
We have accreditations with SSIP (Safety Schemes in Procurement) through Avetta and Constructionline, so our clients can rest assured D&C is prequalified to handle every contract. In GWC Electrical our electricians are certified by City & Guilds to the 17th edition. They are fully qualified to test all appliances and electrical installations. Meet D&C Engineers: UK specialists in batching plant manufacture
Established in 1973, D&C Engineers is proud to be in its fifth decade of trading, continually developing our plant design, manufacture, installation and maintenance services for high-profile construction projects.
Our fabrication workshop and offices are based in Tamworth in the UK Midlands. This location at the heart of England’s motorway network gives us excellent access to the rest of the country. We currently have 40 employees, operating 13 mobile teams around the country.

D&C Engineers: specialist manufacturing firm established in 1973
D&C Engineers was formed in the early 1970s, meaning we are now in our fifth decade of trading. At first our main functions were maintenance and servicing in the concrete, quarry and asphalt industries. As the company has grown, so has our range of services.
We formed GWC Electrical in 1986, allowing us to fulfil our clients’ electrical installations. In 2005 we expanded again by acquiring D&D Fabrications and increasing our workshop production capabilities. The fabrications part of D&C manufactures special-purpose machinery in mild steel, stainless steel and aluminium.
D&C Engineers is still a medium-sized company with a family ethos. We are proud of growing sustainably, remaining stable even through several economic downturns. We are also proud to have an impact and reputation in the construction industry to rival many larger contractors.
