The D&C Engineers team are back in Guernsey, here’s an update on this exciting project:
Upgrade: We’ve been hard at work, this visit saw us revamping their existing Batching Plant. First on our checklist was the removal of the old Aggregate Bins and the rear section of the main Plant Body. In their place, we’ve introduced a brand-new, stand-alone structure. This marvel houses a state-of-the-art Agg Weigh hopper and a network of walkways for easy access – all galvanized to brave the elements.
Six Compartment Aggregate Storage Bins: Our team didn’t stop there! We’ve completed these with a shiny new Bin Filling Swivel Chute for maximum efficiency.
Bringing in the Light: On top of it all, we’ve introduced a sleek new canopy with full access to bin tops and platforms to allow access to the conveyor head and swivel chute for maintenance. This canopy boasts translucent cladding to usher in natural light, giving the whole facility a fresh and inviting feel.
Streamlined Maintenance: We’ve even replaced all of this without having to remove the existing Incline Conveyor, showcasing our commitment to efficiency and minimal disruption.
