D&C Engineers has every process and certification in place to handle the design, manufacture and installation of new batching plants, anywhere in the UK. With CAD and 3D rendering technology, highly qualified engineers and electricians, a fabrications section and expert installation teams, we can take the role of principal contractor under CDM regulations. Read case studies on new plant manufacture carried out by D&C Engineers
One of D&C Engineers’ recent new plant builds was a 160m³ per hour batching plant for Quattro Hayes, following on from our successful installation for Hopkins Concrete in Bridgwater, Somerset (which also resulted in a further identical plant for Brett’s Concrete in Peruvian Wharf in London).
We have recently completed a contract to manufacture and install three high-output, nuclear-grade concrete batching plants for a major new power station at Hinkley Point C in Somerset, a project described by industry magazine Construction News as being of ‘unprecedented scale and complexity’. The success of our first three batching plants has resulted in an order for a fourth.
